About Our Team

Noemí Rodríguez-Grimshaw is the founder of Lo Logramos Consulting LLC (@team_lologramos) and is a veteran language educator who has been sharing and supporting teachers across the globe since 2005. As an award winning teacher, she specializes in language curriculum, assessment design, technology integration, reading and communication strategies. In 2014, 2024 and 2025, FLENJ awarded her workshops “Best of NJ” and in 2023, she earned the FLENJ President’s Award for her continued leadership in language education. She was also recognized as “Best of NECTFL” in 2025 alongside her colleagues, Maris Hawkins and Samara Spielberg. She has presented workshops and delivered keynote speeches at state, regional, national and international conferences over the past fifteen years. Noemi published her first guide: AI Innovation in the Language Classroom in 2024. Her mission is to provide ongoing, customized support to ensure the best language proficiency-based programs in all schools.

Noemí's Full Biography

Noemi attended Rutgers University, where she earned her B.A. in Spanish and Ed.M. in Language Education. She obtained a second Ed.M as a Reading Specialist. Working with the Rutgers University, The Graduate School of Education and Montclair State University, she has taught different teaching methodology courses to aspiring educators in the World Language programs. Also, prior to her current role in supervision, she taught Spanish in the Freehold Township and Marlboro Township school districts in Monmouth County. She continues to find opportunities to teach within her local community by tutoring students, organizing community reading events (Reading Buddies) and facilitating conversational Adult English & Spanish classes. She also serves as a Lead Seal of Alignment Reviewer (English/Spanish) for International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).

Noemi has presented a variety of workshops related to the use of technology, assessment design and literacy in the language classroom. In 2014, her workshop was selected as Best of NJ and she presented at the regional NECTFL conference. She has presented workshops and provided consulting services to the World Language/ESL departments in Hamilton, Lenape Regional, New Milford, Paramus, Ramsey and Rumson Public School Districts in New Jersey. She has also presented at the FLENJ, NECTFL, ACTFL, AATSP, ISTE conferences. Past conference presentations & workshops are all linked and fully accessible.

As the World Language, ESL, Music and Family & Consumer Science District Supervisor, Noemi has led curriculum & assessment revision in all disciplines, new course & program implementation (Heritage Spanish, State & Global Seal of Biliteracy, Dual Enrollment with Seton Hall & Bergen County Community College), hosted a variety of roundtable meetings in her district (ESL, K-12 Supervisors & College Professors, Chinese teachers, Bilingual Advocacy CommitteeMulticultural Festival) and facilitated full day professional development workshops such as edcamp for Music, edcamp for FCS and an array of language workshops. She founded the WL Tech Institute (@WLTechInstitute) in 2016 and successfully held EdCampWL (@EdCampWL) for five years until 2019 with a team of WL colleagues.

She served on the Board of Directors for her state world language organization: FLENJ (The Fellowship of Language Educators of New Jersey) from 2020-2023 and as a part of the Executive Board is the Vice President of Programs. In her role, she has organized both in-person and virtual state conferences (Tech Chats in April 2020, Summer 2021, The Future is Language Spring 2022, Summer 2022 Share a Thon, Languages Connect Us All Spring 2023) and workshops (Workshops for 20-21, 21-22 & 22-23) for World Language educators. She strives to ensure that the best professional development is easily accessible to New Jersey educators.

Most recently, Noemi was awarded the FLENJ President’s Award in April 2023 for her continued dedication, passion and leadership in the field of language education.

Our department has been working closely with Noemi Rodriguez through her consulting firm, Lo Logramos Consulting. As you know, she is a leader among our supervisory team. For the past two years she has provided professional development for our team. This year, we are focusing on the portfolio process and she has been fantastic in sharing strategic steps to support our work in this area. Melissa Sarracino

Melissa's Biography

Melissa Sarracino is a dynamic and student-focused educator with 22 years of experience teaching novice, emerging, and intermediate students at the middle school level. She earned a B.A. in French and Communications and later completed her M.A.T. in Spanish at Rutgers University. Currently, Melissa is further enhancing her teaching practices by taking online courses through the Professional Development Institute to improve her methods in the world language classroom. Throughout her career, she has led numerous workshops at the state, regional, and district levels. In 2022, Melissa was honored as the Union County Teacher of the Year by her peers at Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School, and the following year, she was named the FLENJ Teacher of the Year. Passionate about language learning, Melissa is dedicated to sharing her enthusiasm with her students, colleagues, and the broader professional community.

Christine Webb

Christine Webb
Christine's Biography

Christine Webb has taught German to students in grades 6-12 in several South Jersey districts since 1992. She is active in her local AATG Chapter, and volunteers with the Language Committee at the German Society of Pennsylvania. She has 3 almost-adult sons, a poorly-behaved dog, and a cat that she found as a kitten in her kayak at the start of the pandemic. Her free time is filled with traveling, swimming, golfing, gardening and reading. 

Christine has served as a Mentor to several French teachers and as the Teacher Leader for World Language in her past district. She has hosted the annual South Jersey language competition “Sprachfest” several years and loves bringing together students from schools throughout the region to celebrate German. She has been a Goethe-Institut SPARK Innovator and has presented regionally and nationally on SPARK for German. She has presented locally, regionally and nationally through her districts, AATG, FLENJ, NECTFL and ACTFL. Presentation topics have focused on communicative strategies that drive acquisition as well as how AI can support teachers and differentiate for students. She has also presented on Rubric Design, Assessments and IPAs. Christine has worked on curricula for TPRS Books and Goethe-Institut. Her favorite topic to present is Strategies to Engage Students in Interpersonal Communication. Since leaving the classroom, Christine has been presenting to districts throughout New Jersey as a consultant for Lo Logramos Consulting.

Katherine Stotler

Kathy Stotler
Katherine's Biography

Kathy Stotler is a seasoned educator and leader with over two decades of experience in World Language and ESL education. Currently serving as the Supervisor of World Languages and Multilingual Learners for the Bernards Township School District in New Jersey, Kathy oversees comprehensive K–12 programs in language instruction and multilingual learner support. In this role, she provides dynamic professional development, leads curriculum design, manages federal grant allocations, and fosters effective family and community engagement for a diverse multilingual population.

Proficient in French and Spanish, Kathy began her career as a French and ESL teacher, working with students in grades 5–12. She has since expanded her expertise to teacher coaching, curriculum leadership, and program innovation. Her work as an edTPA Portfolio Coach with Rutgers University’s Center for Effective School Practice, and as a WL/ML consultant, has helped elevate instructional practices across numerous districts.

Kathy holds a B.A. in French and an Ed.M. in Foreign Language Education from Rutgers University, as well as an M.A. in Educational Leadership from the College of Saint Elizabeth. She holds New Jersey certifications as a Principal, Supervisor, Teacher of ESL, and Teacher of French.

A recognized leader in the field, Kathy served on the Board of Directors for the Foreign Language Educators of New Jersey (FLENJ), including as Vice President of Programs. She actively facilitates a statewide network of over 90 world language supervisors, fostering collaboration, professional learning, and job-alike support.

Kathy is a frequent presenter at regional and national conferences, including NECTFL, ACTFL, and FLENJ where she has been well-received for her enthusiasm and practical, student-centered approach.

Nicholas Grimshaw

Nicholas's Biography

Nick joins Team Lo Logramos as an experienced School Principal and educator having worked in a variety of roles from Middle School to Elementary School. As a building leader, Nick has worked to build teacher-centric cultures where educators feel supported and empowered to not only pursue their professional goals but also provide the highest level of student instruction. 

From facilitating curriculum design and revision to building a shared vision for staff, Nick is adept at empowering his staff and colleagues and giving everyone an opportunity to participate in their school’s success. He has experience integrating multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) into his school’s intervention plan as well as the data collection and analysis tools to support MTSS. Nick’s past experience in collaboratively developing whole-school character education programs all revolve on a common theme, to support student and staff success. His mission is to help current and aspiring school leaders to develop the skills and practices to unlock and support their school community’s potential.

As a former Social Studies teacher, Nick belongs to the NJCSS as well as his membership to school leadership organizations, such as NJPSA, ASCD and AMLE. In addition to his professional affiliations, Nick has also completed a Solutionary micro-credential program from the Institute for Humane Education.
